Founded in 2019 by Jason, MECEXP seamlessly blends modern electronic technology with traditional mechanical watchmaking, redefining the possibilities of timekeeping. Drawing on years of experience in watch design and OEM manufacturing, Jason channels deep industry expertise into building an independent brand with a distinct vision. Inspiration
The inspiration behind the MS1001 watch was born from a serendipitous moment. While attending an exhibition, the designer was captivated by a 3D printer methodically shaping objects through the precise motion of a leadscrew. Recognizing the leadscrew’s exceptional potential for accuracy and stability in fine mechanical applications, he reimagined its role within horology—giving rise to the MS1001’s distinctive “linear flyback” structure.
This innovative design breathes dynamic mechanical energy into the watch while significantly enhancing precision and reliability. The MS1001 stands as a tangible expression of this inspiration, reflecting the designer’s deep mastery of precision mechanics and a refined interpretation of the art of timekeeping.
